About SI 16840 Wind Turbine
SANY 4.0 MW Wind Turbine (Model SI 16840) is designed for high power output at low to medium wind speed that prevails in India. With hub height of 140 m and rotor diameter of 168 m, this wind turbine is the largest wind turbine in India in its class, which guarantees highest energy generation. With lower cut-in & rated wind speeds, the power curve is improvised to garner the maximum generation at the low-medium wind regime in India. This turbine is a part of Sany’s 3X-4X platform, which is already installed and commissioned in China.
